Unit 6: Are you gonna eat that?

¿When is the last time you tried a completely different type of food?What was it?Did you enjoy  it or not?
If I remember correctly the last time I tried a completely different type of food was actually around 1 or 2 months ago, I went to a restaurant of italian food, I remember going to that restaţ3urant with my mom and with one of my aunts, there all of us decided to eat the same thing, which was a panini, a variety of sandwich that was originally created in italy, we all ate ended up eating a panini with different ingredients inside it; I really liked how it tasted it and I think became one of my favorite foods so I would definitely would eat it again if I have the possibility, maybe the reason why I really liked is because I tend to like italian food in general.

¿Do you waste food at school or at home?If so, how much?Why would you trow food away?
I actually don't waste a lots of food, I usually eat all the food that is given to to me in my house, but if I throw some kind of food away it would be strawberry juice, even tho i like strawberries themselves, or any meal that incudes raw onion which are actually made quite commonly in my house, I usually try eating the most I can from this meals because I don't like the idea of wasting food so I end up drinking most part of the straberry juice and I trow away the onion from the meals with it and them I eat them but sometimes I don't even this kind of food and simply reject it, the reason why I throw away the strawberry juice is because of its taste since I simply don't like it and find the taste really gross and the reason I don't like meals with raw onion is because of it's taste as well but I also trow away the onion because in my opinion it looks disgusting and I think that it worsens the taste of the mayority of meals with onion if this ingredient is left raw.

Imagine if you wanted to open a restaurant. How can you avoid food waste?Make a list of at least five ideas.
If I opened a restaurant, I would avoid wasting food by:
1. Donating the food that couldn't be used in the restaurant.
2. Using ugly food to prepare the recipes in the restaurant.
3. Having  a really diversed menu in the restaurant.
4. Measuring the amount of food used every week according to the amount of clients that arrive at restaurant per week.
5. Providing some different meals every day so that all ingredients can be ultimately used.

¿Why do people trow food away?Write about at least three different causes of food waste.
1. Some of the food people throw away in supermarkets is ugly food wich is only trowed away because of it weird looks and I think the amount of ugly food that is trown away is rater large.
2. Other reason why people throw away food might be that they simply don't like the food the eat, mostly from the kids in households.
3. Another reason might be that people buy more food than is needed and because of that they forget of certain food products and they end up wasted or trown away.
